What Is Faith and Faithfulness?

Faith- Gr. to persuade, to draw towards any thing, to conciliate; to believe, to obey.

Hebrews 11:1 BBE– Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the sign that the things not seen are true.

Faithfulness-. Fidelity; loyalty; firm adherence to allegiance and duty; as the faithfulness of a subject.

Mat 8:10 BBE  And when these words came to the ears of Jesus he was surprised, and said to those who came after him, Truly I say to you, I have not seen such great faith, no, not in Israel.

Faith in God means placing your whole heart in Christ and Him Crucified. Faithfulness means living a life that pleases God.

James 2:26 BBE– For as the body without the spirit is dead even so faith without works is dead.
